Nationwide audit within the NHS concerning the management and outcomes of patients with hip fractures. Set up in 2017 as a joint venture between the BOA and British Geriatric Society. It audits a number of the best practice tariff standards. Including:

• Prompt surgery
• Orthogeriatric review
• Return to residence
• Post op delirium
• NICE compliance
• Prompt mobilisations

I have completed X extra-capsular fixations and X intra-capsular fixations over the course of my training. 

After completing the operation I ensure that I complete the theatre data collection sheet.

Pre-operatively, I ensure that the audited Best Practice Tariffs are completed.
